Entrepreneurship Innovation

Course content

Corporate Entrepreneurship focuses on how established organizations renew themselves through entrepreneurial behavior, innovation initiatives, and new business creation. The course adopts an entrepreneurial management perspective, placing managers, employees, and organizational systems at the center of the analysis.

The course is structured as a blended format combining pre-study online sessions, an intensive international study tour, and post-tour individual reflection. Prior to the study tour, participants complete approximately six hours of online sessions providing conceptual foundations and context for the assigned readings. The on-site module emphasizes experiential learning through company visits, case discussions, guest speakers, and applied assignments.

What you learn

To achieve the grade 12 at the end of the course, the participant should be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the uniqueness of entrepreneurial management in established organizations
• Apply entrepreneurial management tools and frameworks to corporate innovation contexts
• Demonstrate an understanding of desirable traits of corporate entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs
• Demonstrate an understanding of organizational and contextual drivers of corporate entrepreneurship
