Rethinking craft, heritage and entrepreneurship futures
I explore how craft, cultural heritage and entrepreneurship shape society and organizations. My research investigates how long-standing organizations and creative entrepreneurs use the past to navigate change, continuity, and temporality, highlighting the societal impact of business practices over time.
Through qualitative approaches - including visual, textual, and historical data - and art-based methodology incorporating artistic practices and languages, I examine how material forms of the past (e.g. artefacts or buildings) inform organizing, change, and communities of actors.
My work helps:
organizations understand and leverage heritage and craft for sustainable development;
entrepreneurs navigate cultural and historical contexts to foster innovation and continuity;
society rethink the role of tradition and creativity in contemporary economies.
Currently, I focus on craft entrepreneurship, uses of the past, organizational categories, and art-based methodology, aiming to connect academic insights with practical, societal impact.
