'A Practical Guide to LinkedIn Advertising Reach Data for Social Science: Methods, Challenges, and Five Applications'. In this methodology paper, Saila and her co-author Javier Garcia-Bernardo guide researchers to assemble LinkedIn data. The new article illustrates the usefulness for this data for different research designs and questions within organizational and professional research.

 

'Critical Perspectives on Accounting'. Saila Stausholm has co-authered this publication with Marek Sedivy and Petr Jansky. The article proposes the term ‘linked opacities’ to understand the relational aspects between organizations, and why single-unit transparency is not enough for accountability. The case study is on the extractives sector, where data from 3 established transparency initiatives is too fractured to work together, as only 2 percent (27 firms!) can be linked across datasets.
