Innovation in Total Defence
On September 30 the 'Uniform at Work Day' is held in Denmark acknowledging the people who, alongside their regular job, invest time in a uniform to serve the common good. At CBS, we mark the day with an event on Innovation and Business in Total Defence with a select panel of executives from defence, emergency management, business and manufacturing.

At CBS, we mark the day with an event from 14.00-16.00 pm focusing on Innovation and Business in Total Defence. It is open for everyone to join, and we encourage those in uniform to use the occasion to wear it on campus if you like.
The event includes a distinguished panel of executives from defence, emergency management, business and manufacturing. This includes Kenneth Pedersen, Director General of the Danish Emergency Management Agency, Steen Wegener, Brigadier General in the Danish Defence Command, Jakob Ellemann-Jensen, Deputy Director Danish Chamber of Commerce, and Klaus Ørskov Bonde, CEO of Danish Advanced Manufacturing Research Center. The event also offers a rare look inside APE, an invitation-only hackathon at the interface between academia and Danish Defence.
Researchers, students, executives and public officials are all welcome.
After the event, CBS will host a small reception, followed by a short session for CBS employees in uniform.
The event is organized by the research cluster in Societal Resilience and Business in collaboration with InterForce and KP.

Part of the Research Cluster Societal Resilience
The cluster examines the role of businesses in strengthening societal security and resilience. Its research focuses, among other areas, on critical infrastructure and supply chains, public-private collaboration, and how businesses can mobilise and adapt existing resources, capabilities and production capacity when society faces crises and disruptions.
