Henriksen’s research interests include: social networks in organisations and markets; experts and professions in governance and policy; the socio-economic and political prominence of corporate elite; inequality in a comparative perspective; and the politics of conservation and environmental sustainability. His work frequently deploys social network analytic tools to trace the origins of social and political action. Henriksen is the author of several books and his works figure in journals such as American Journal of Sociology, Socio-Economic Review, Social Networks, Regulation & Governance, Nature, PNAS, and Global Environmental Change.
