I study the causes and effects of individuals’ financial choices.

I am an Assistant Professor at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), specializing in household finance. My research focuses on how families make financial decisions. Specifically, I am curious how and when families transfer wealth from one generation to the next. In my research, I analyze large micro-level data sets using empirical identification methods.

I often draw on insights from behavioral economics to explore how psychological and cognitive factors influence financial decisions. I am also interested in gender economics, including how gender roles and dynamics affect economic outcomes in households.
