Record Result: Copenhagen Business School’s Full-Time MBA maintains Top 100 position in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2026, for 3rd consecutive year
Copenhagen Business School (CBS) has achieved a record performance in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2026, maintaining its position among the world’s top 100 MBA programmes and securing the #85 spot.
This marks the third consecutive year that CBS’s Full-time MBA has secured it’s position in the prestigious ranking, reaffirming the programme's international reputation for academic excellence and career impact. As the only full-time MBA programme in Scandinavia included in the ranking, CBS continues to distinguish itself through academic excellence and strong career outcomes.
A key highlight of this year’s result is CBS’s impressive #13 global ranking for 'International Mobility'. This indicator measures the international career progression of alumni by assessing their citizenship, the country in which they worked prior to the MBA, where they secured their first post-MBA role, and where they are employed three years after graduation. The strong ranking demonstrates CBS’s ability to support and enable graduates in building globally mobile, internationally oriented careers. The Full-Time MBA programme also ranks #30 worldwide for 'Value for Money', highlighting its strong return on investment and focus on delivering meaningful career acceleration and long-term value for participants.
“This year’s ranking reinforces CBS as a leading destination for ambitious professionals who want a world‑class education in a dynamic, globally connected, and sustainability‑driven business environment. Our focus on diversity, international mobility, and career progression ensures that the CBS MBA is a transformative experience that equips future leaders to make a meaningful impact ” Andreas Rasche
Associate Dean of the Full-Time MBA and Professor of Business in Society at CBS
CBS maintains a firm commitment to gender balance (with 55% female participants in the current cohort), as well as to academic excellence, and diversity. An exceptional 97% of faculty members hold doctoral degrees, ensuring a high level of academic rigour and expertise. The programme’s governance also reflects its dedication to equality, with 63% of the board comprising women.
Further underscoring its international outlook, the CBS Full-Time MBA brings together a global cohort, with 96% of students originating from outside Denmark. This multicultural environment enhances classroom discussions, broadens perspectives, and strengthens the international network students build throughout the programme.
Gitte Kramhøft Jakobsen, Director of the CBS MBA Programmes, adds,
“CBS’s Full-Time MBA is proud to once again be recognised among the top MBA programmes in the world. This ranking reflects the strength of our curriculum, the diversity and ambition of our students, and the global career opportunities our graduates are able to pursue.”
The Financial Times Global MBA Ranking is considered one of the most influential benchmarks in global management education, evaluating programmes across a range of criteria including career progress, international experience, faculty quality, and alumni outcomes. The 2026 ranking draws partly on data from alumni who graduated in 2022, 2021, and 2020, providing a comprehensive view of CBS’s sustained performance and impact over time.
