We are looking for candidates who must have:

  • High-level practical experience at a high level, which has not been gained through academic employment with a university, or

  • A part-time lecturer who is employed on the merits of his or her relevant practical experience must possess in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of the possible applications of the subject/academic discipline. This knowledge is/has been acquired through employment within the subject/academic discipline.
  • Employment as part-time lecturer presupposes that teaching qualifications are included in the assessment of applicants for an external professor.

External lecturers provide an important practical supplement to the teaching undertaken by the department’s researchers. The position offers an opportunity to engage with ambitious students, participate in an international academic environment and contribute to the department’s network of external lecturers.

The conditions of employment and the qualification requirements are described further in the Ministerial Order on Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities.
