New research (in Danish) - 'Beskæftigelseseffekter af iværksætteri' - by Department of Economics Professor Anders Sørensen and colleagues Nikolaj Malchow-Møller (SDU) and Johan Kuhn from the Rockwool Foundation Research Unit shows that entrepreneurs have a higher productivity level than their established competitors. They create more jobs and also pay better salaries. More than 20,000 entrepreneurs establish a new company in Denmark every year.
