Is Germany’s Big CA Surplus a Threat to the Euro?

As a follow-up on his involvement in the EC conference “Large and Chronic Current Account Surpluses - Problems, Policies and Prospects”, Copenhagen Business School​ Economics Department Professor Svend Erik Hougaard wrote an op-ed article, entitled “Er Tysklands store overskud en trussel mod euroen?” (“Is Germany’s Big CA Surplus a Threat to the Euro?”).
