I see Law as Light guiding cooperation in a fractured world
My research explores how international and European law can foster cooperation, protect the rule of law, and address global challenges, like climate change, trade and non-trade values, and global justice. I study how legal institutions reduce conflict, build trust, and create fair frameworks for collaboration across borders.
I contribute to debates on the future of the EU, global governance, and sustainability by showing how law can be both a safeguard of values and a driver of change. My work engages with policymakers, international organizations, and civil society to translate complex legal principles into practical solutions.
Beyond research, I am committed to academic citizenship: I teach large and diverse student groups in innovative ways, facilitate dialogue across disciplines, and engage in public debate on Europe’s role in the world.
