The second meeting of the Yugoslav economists network

Department of Economics will host the second meeting of the Yugoslav economists network on November 11-12 at the Copenhagen Business School. The aim of the network meeting is to strengthen collaboration and build bridges between economists and institutes in the former Yugoslav region, and beyond. For the forthcoming meeting, we expect attendees from Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Goethe Universität, University of Ljubljana, CEMFI Madrid, University of Belgrade, Bournemouth University, Institute of Economics Zagreb, London School of Economics, Zagreb School of Economics and Management, University College London, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of North Macedonia, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, The United Nations, The Central Bank of Montenegro, University Goce Delcev in Skopje, and Universitat Jaume I in Spain.

 

The keynote speeches will be given by Prof. Danica Popovic on Thursday 16:00-17:30 who will talk about “The economic trajectory of the Yugoslav-space” and Prof. Slavo Radosevic on Friday 16:00-17:30 who will talk about “Global challenges, Yugoslav solutions & Post-Yugoslav challenges, global lessons”.

 

The meeting is supported by Otto Mønsteds Fond. It is organized by Associate Professor Ismir Mulalic from the Department of Economics.
