Chapters by ECON faculty members in 'International Encyclopedia of Transportation'

Three chapters written by faculty members of the Department of Economics were recently published in International Encyclopedia of Transportation.

Tooraj Jamasb and Manuel Llorca describe the concept of the rebound effect focusing on the road freight transport. Ismir Mulalic and coauthors describe the rebound for car transport and a role commuting plays in short run adjustments to local shocks by facilitating adjustments without residential mobility.
