Primary research areas

Supply Chain Analytics

My research in supply chain analytics examines how emerging technologies, novel data sources, and advanced algorithms can enhance decision-making across supply chains. For instance, I examine the value of computer vision data in retail settings and the role of IoT-enabled inventory information in the agricultural sector.

Entrepreneurial Operations

My research on entrepreneurial operations explores the intersection of supply chain management and entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on how entrepreneurial firms build and adapt supply chains in emerging industries.

Transforming food supply chains through technological innovation

Research focus
I conduct empirical research on supply chain analytics and entrepreneurial operations. Most of my work is carried out in collaboration with industry partners, particularly in the food sector, and places technological innovation at the center.

My research helps:

Transform the food sector by enabling efficient supply chains and novel business models

Support firms in assessing and leveraging the value of new technologies

Explain the behavioural and organizational barriers that hinder technology adoption

Highlight the importance of supply chain and operations management for entrepreneurial firms
