I have an in­terest in the roles of cor­por­a­tions in mak­ing, tak­ing and break­ing demo­crat­ic so­ci­et­al gov­ernance
Cor­por­ate cit­izen­ship
I have an in­terest in ways in which cor­por­a­tions can / do / do not be­have in a cit­izenly way, par­tic­u­larly as they ‘make, take and break’ gov­ernance

Re­search and teach­ing of cor­por­ate so­cial respons­ibility

The main impact of my research is on how academics understand CSR, corporations & societal governance, and corporate citizenship, with a focus both on democratic systems and, more broadly comparatively. My main motivation is to enable corporations to be members of society.
