About the event

This year's PeRCent Annual Conference brings together leading researchers, policymakers, and industry experts for a day of discussions on pensions, financial markets, and welfare policy. As PeRCent marks its 12th annual conference, the programme combines leading academic research with perspectives from policymakers and practitioners on some of the most pressing challenges facing pension systems and ageing societies.

The conference features a keynote presentation by Professor John Y. Campbell (Harvard University), one of the world's leading scholars in finance and household economics. The academic programme features presentations that address topics including the effects of pension benefit cuts on private saving, the financing of pension guarantees across generations, the role of career quality in financial resilience and intergenerational mobility, and the relationship between interest rates and equity valuations.

The afternoon Policy Forum will bring together representatives from academia and the pension industry to discuss key issues including welfare reform and the role of passive and active pension products in the future pension landscape.

Full programme and registration details will follow.
