What you will learn
- Gain practical experience relevant to the IBP competency profile by working for a public or private, profit or non-profit organization.
- Use the analytical skills learned in the MSc. IBP programme to perform the tasks assigned to the student, in a way that creates value for the host organization.
- Develop a balanced, critical and reflexive understanding of the host organization and its strategic positioning in the social, economic and institutional environment.
- Develop and address a research question based on a real challenge of the hosting organization. The research question should focus on the relationship between business and politics in an international environment.
- Address the research question and analyze the empirical evidence by drawing upon the applied theoretical literature covered by the IBP programme.
- Develop a well-reasoned conclusion and recommendation for the host organization, based on the analysis of original data collected through interviews and other sources within the host organization or outside of it.
- Develop an analysis of the empirical evidence using methodologies taught in the IBP programme.
- Ensure a logical and methodological coherence between the research question, analysis and conclusion.
