I study how shifts in production and technology reshape competition and power in global industries, with particular attention to changing industrial structures and the roles of states and firms.

I examine how regulation and protectionist interventions shape market access, industrial competition and state-firm relations, particularly in the context of economic interdependence and geopolitical tensions.

My current research focuses on China–Europe relations in electric mobility and related value chains, examining how regulatory responses affect industrial development, market access and economic interdependence.

My research interests lie at the intersection of global industrial competition, regulation and geoeconomics. I am particularly interested in how shifts in production and technology interact with regulatory institutions and reshape power and competition in global markets.

My current research examines these questions in the context of the green industrial transition, with a particular focus on China-Europe relations in electric mobility and related value chains. I explore how regulatory and protectionist interventions affect market access, industrial development and economic interdependence, and how these dynamics are shaped by broader geopolitical competition.

More broadly, I am interested in the relationships between production structures, regulatory institutions and institutional power, and in how states and firms respond to changing patterns of global industrial interdependence.
