Comparative Capitalism––Searching for Better Institutions
I seek to understand the economic, political and technological implications of China’s rise
I look for ways to best match policies, institutions and corporate and non-corporate actors for beneficial technological development
My research helps:
- governments to understand the implications of China’s rise
- policymakers to incorporate corporate behavior and strategy into technology policy design
- developing countries to leverage global value chains for socio-economic and technological development
- change policymaking discourse to include deeper consideration of institutional effects on policy efficacy
