Blockchain is about how we record and exchange value—and who controls the rules. I study how blockchain enables new forms of coordination and governance in financial services. My work examines how decentralised systems can support collaboration while meeting requirements for trust, accountability and regulation.
Agentic AI
AI is increasingly able to act, not just provide answers. I study how agentic AI can support decisions and carry out work in financial services. My work examines how people and AI share responsibilities, and how automation can create value while preserving privacy, accountability and meaningful human oversight.
Digital Organizations
I study how financial institutions can collaborate through shared digital infrastructure while retaining their independence. My work examines how governance, incentives and decision rights shape collective action and the value created for participants.

I founded Node16, a spin-out based on my research in agentic AI and digital organizations, building an intelligence network for financial crime detection and reporting
Agentic AI for financial crime compliance
I developed and deployed an agentic AI system for financial crime compliance, demonstrating how bounded agent roles, explainability and auditability support workflow automation within accountable governance structures.
