Anti-money laun­der­ing and sys­tem­ic risk man­age­ment
I re­search in the mit­ig­a­tion of sys­tem­ic risk with­in anti-money laun­der­ing. How Pub­lic and Private en­tit­ies must work to ad­dress com­mon goals and risks.
Risk-Based Com­pli­ance
Risk-based reg­u­la­tion is chal­len­ging to com­ply with, due to the du­al­ist­ic ap­proach of law and eco­nom­ics. My re­search fo­cuses on the in­ter­dis­cip­lin­ar­ity of law and eco­nom­ics in re­la­tion to risk-based reg­u­la­tion.
Pub­lic-Private-Risk-Part­ner­ships
Rusk-based reg­u­la­tion de­mands private en­tit­ies to ad­dress so­ci­et­al risks. How­ever, without cer­tain guid­ing and part­ner­ship agree­ments with pub­lic act­ors these ef­forts are in­ef­fect­ive. My re­search fo­cus on op­tim­iz­ing the in­cent­ive sys­tem

My main goal is to transform the University to an engaging Societal Impact institution leading Public, Private, Academic Partnerships supporting politicians and governments for knowledge-based initiatives and Societal Effectiveness.
