I am in­ter­ested in the very corner­stones of tax law, which ex­penses are tax-de­duct­ible and which are sub­ject to tax along with when and why that is so along with the com­plic­a­tions that might arise.

Jane Bolander has, over many years, been a significant and highly active figure in the Danish academic tax law community. Among other things, she has been instrumental in the development and expansion of CBS’s Master in Tax program, which today stands out as a highly respected and popular education at a high academic level.

Jane is the driving force behind CBS’s very popular Tax Talk events, which attract more than 200 participants each year. It is dedicated individuals like Jane who inspire widely within the field and help ensure that we continue to move forward and evolve together.

In 2019, Jane received the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, which funded a research stay at Columbia University in New York.

Jane’s teaching abilities are indisputable, and she uses them effectively to raise the level of expertise in tax law. Jane is a well-liked colleague across the tax law community, known for her professional approach and contagious good spirit.
