Exploring workplace environments and well-being through data
Research Focus
As a PhD fellow at the Center for Corporate Governance, I study how workplace environments and employee well-being influence outcomes for individuals and organizations. My research examines how factors such as workplace culture, retention, productivity, and mental and physical health, including sickness absence and work-related accidents, are shaped by the workplace. I use quantitative methods and comprehensive Danish register data to explore these relationships and their broader implications for labor market outcomes and firm performance.
Motivation and Impact
My research supports the development of healthier and more effective workplaces. By providing empirical evidence on how workplace conditions affect both employees and organizations, I aim to help reduce health-related risks, improve performance, and support firms and policymakers in their decision-making. I am motivated by the belief that better workplaces benefit both people and business.
