Om oplægget

Organizations today operate in environments characterised by increasing complexity, uncertainty, and rapid change.

CBS Library Forum is happy to welcome Senior Consultant Sarah Freiesleben from the leadership consultancy Mannaz, who will challenge the common assumption that variation and unpredictability are obstacles to be eliminated.

Drawing on the ideas presented in her recent book, The Opposite of Noise: Engaging with Variety for Positive Change, as well as her experience working with leaders and organisations, Sarah Freiesleben will explore how the "noise" we often seek to reduce can instead become a source of innovation, better decision-making, and organisational resilience.

Rather than striving for greater control, the talk will examine how leaders can engage more constructively with complexity and harness the opportunities it creates. It will provide an accessible introduction to a different way of thinking about leadership, change, and decision-making in an increasingly complex world.
