Tasks in the position
The student assistant will support the OMEGA team in the further development and implementation of course-specific AI assistants for teaching and learning at CBS. The project develops AI-based learning activities, where students use AI as a structured academic sparring partner rather than as an answer generator.
The tasks will include testing and quality-assuring AI assistants, feedback flows, prompts, and course-specific learning materials; maintaining documentation, prompt libraries, and user guides; supporting lecturers and students during implementation; assisting with survey setup, data collection, and evaluation logistics; and helping coordinate materials across participating courses.
The student assistant may also contribute to practical user testing and early development work related to the project’s simulation-oriented Managerial City layer, where students make theory-based managerial decisions in a controlled AI-supported learning environment, as well as communication activities addressing a wider audience.
Requirements for experience/qualifications and personal skills
We are looking for a structured and reliable student with an interest in generative AI, teaching, learning design, and responsible use of digital tools in higher education. Experience with ChatGPT or other generative AI tools is an advantage, and the student should be comfortable and experienced in working with LLMs in practice, especially if combined with an interest in prompt design, feedback processes, documentation, or educational development.
The position requires good written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with a small project team. Familiarity with surveys, spreadsheets, data handling, or basic technical workflows is an advantage, but deep programming experience is not required. An interest in business education, e.g. topics such as managerial and organizational economics, and/or AI-supported case and simulation work will also be useful.
The student assistant must be comfortable handling project materials responsibly and help ensure that the tools are useful, well documented, and aligned with CBS’ educational and data-handling requirements.
Along these lines, we are looking for a structured and proactive student assistant who can also oversee different processes at the same time and follow cases to completion. In addition, it is important to us that you are approachable and interested in joining a team. In addition, we value the following qualifications:
- You are a user of the Office package in general, including Excel and Power Point in particular
- You have English skills at a level that corresponds to the content of the position
- You are familiar with the use of Large Language Models for professional work
- You have the opportunity to work 10-15 hours spread over 2-3 days a week
We offer
We offer a dynamic, international workplace that is characterized by committed colleagues, an informal atmosphere, and we offer flexible working hours in connection with your exams and a central location in Frederiksberg, close to the metro. The department is part of the Solberg Plads Campus area, and here you will have permanent space in an office.
Salary and terms of employment
Employment takes place in accordance with the HK organisational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Publicly Employed Organisations (OAO-S Collective Agreement).
The salary currently ranges between DKK 142.98 and DKK 149.99 per hour and is dependent on previous employment in the office profession and level of education. The pension contribution amounts to 16% of the pensionable salary components.
