Transforming energy systems for a just green transition
I am an Assistant Professor at the Copenhagen School of Energy Infrastructure (Department of Economics, CBS). I was previously a Research Fellow at Durham University Business School and Early Career Fellow at the Durham Energy Institute.
I study how energy systems can become more efficient, sustainable and fair. My research informs policies that support access to clean, affordable energy, especially for vulnerable communities facing barriers in the green transition.
My research focuses on:
Energy poverty and equitable energy access
Regulation and integration of energy systems
Public acceptance of energy infrastructure
Through interdisciplinary research, I analyse the social, economic and institutional factors that shape the success of the green transition. I aim to make it more inclusive, accepted and effective by putting people and fairness at the centre of the process.
