I am particularly interested in the question how to achieve meaningful reform of (international) tax systems.

My research focuses on the intersection of international and EU Law and other areas or research such as political science, political economy and legal philosophy. My research aims to help 

- policymakers to better design and implement tax policies that deliver their expected outcomes  

- to increase the legitimacy of international tax cooperation and to make the international tax system fairer and more robust.
