I am interested in the micro-level elements that permit the macro composition of the international political economy.
Leonard Seabrooke is Professor of International Political Economy and Economic Sociology at the Copenhagen Business School (CBS), where he leads the Organization, Markets and Governance research group (15 faculty) and chairs the CBS Ethics Council. He is also a Research Professor at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs. Renowned for his interdisciplinary approach across International Relations, Political Economy, Sociology, and Organization Studies, Seabrooke has published extensively in top journals across these fields, with over 8300 citations (h-index 46, ORCID ID is 0000-0001-5581-3293). He is a former co-editor of both International Studies Quarterly and Review of International Political Economy. Seabrooke has an exceptional track record in securing major competitive funding, including two European Research Council grants, five consortium grants from the European Commission, as well as projects from the Independent Research Fund Denmark (x3), Norwegian Research Council (x5), Velux Foundation (x2), and the Institute for New Economic Thinking. His leadership roles at CBS, including directing the flagship International Business and Politics BSc and MSc degrees, reflect his commitment to institution building and academic excellence. Seabrooke is also one of the two experts for the Social Sciences panel of the Chartered Association of Business Schools, which establishes global rankings for publishing excellence through its Academic Journal Guide.
