I work within the fields of international and comparative political economy, focusing especially on economic inequality, globalization and the history and influence of economic ideas. My academic profile combines a critical approach to political economy with interdisciplinary perspectives from sociology, history, and development studies. Primary research areas include: global political economy, neoliberalism and post-neoliberalism, growth models and the role of economic expertise.

Professional and/or academic experience
My experience bridges academic research, teaching, and political advisory work. Academically, I have a Phd. In political science and 10 years of research experience from a range of universities. I have published widely in leading journals and contributed to both scholarly and public debates through books, media, and public commentary. Beyond academia, I have worked as a political advisor in the Danish parliament, producing economic policy analyses and communicating complex material to decision-makers. This dual background informs a practice-oriented and critical approach to political economy that connects theoretical insight with real-world relevance.

Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
I have broad teaching experience at both BA and MA level across topics in political economy, business studies, sociology and political science. My teaching combines research-based content with active learning methods, including structured discussions and project work. I hold a university teaching diploma and regularly update my pedagogical skills. I have experience with course design and academic supervision at both undergraduate and graduate levels and I supervise in the fields of political economy, development studies, sociology, and international relations.
