Multinationals and Local Contexts

My work investigates how multinational enterprises interact with diverse institutional and community settings, shaping local employment practices, social outcomes, and the diffusion of organizational norms.

Studying how organizations and society shape each other

My research examines how organizations engage with pressing social issues such as inequality, diversity, and sustainability. I focus on how firms and their societal environments interact, highlighting how organizational decisions can foster inclusion and more equitable outcomes.

I investigate how companies adapt strategies to address societal challenges across different contexts, including but not limited to multinational enterprises. My work shows how representation, corporate practices, and institutions influence both organizational outcomes and broader social well-being.

Beyond research, I engage in projects with direct societal impact, such as initiatives supporting Black entrepreneurs in Brazil. These applied collaborations exemplify how academic work can contribute to community development and opportunity creation.

I have been recognized with the RRBM Dare to Care Dissertation Award and the Best Dissertation Award at FGV EAESP, underscoring the societal relevance of my work. My ambition is to deepen our understanding of how firms and societies co-evolve and provide insights for more responsible organizations.
