The Centre for Sustainability at The Department of Management, Society and Communication (MSC) at CBS is looking for a student assistant to join us in August. 

The Centre for Sustainability at CBS is a multi-disciplinary research centre devoted to the study of sustainable practices and developments in organizations, markets and society at large. The Centre feeds research-based teaching into various BSc and MSc programmes and provides expertise to policy makers, business, industry associations and civil society groups. 

As a student assistant, you will assist the Centre staff in running the Centre activities, but it is possible to take on extra tasks to gain an insight into different areas of the department and even across CBS.

The tasks will differ but will include: 

  • Updating website, assisting our social media channels and other communication tasks 
  • Assist in planning smaller events and conferences 
  • Monitor sustainability-related trends and developments
  • Produce visual materials (invitations, flyers, etc.) using Canva
  • General administrative support and tasks such as taking notes and draft concise summaries of meetings

There will be ample opportunities to gain more responsibility throughout your time at CBS

Highly valued qualifications: 

  • High interest or experience within sustainability  
  • Independent and organized 
  • Previous experience with SoMe and tools 
  • Out-going and service-minded 
  • Keen to acquire new skills and welcomes fresh viewpoints
  • Punctual and consistent
  • Detail oriented 
  • Fluency in English as well as in Danish

Candidates who have at least one year left of their education are preferred.

Salary and terms of employment 

Employment takes place in accordance with the HK organisational agreement and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and Publicly Employed Organisations (OAO-S Collective Agreement). 

The salary currently ranges between DKK 142,98 and DKK 149,99 per hour and is dependent on previous employment in the office profession and level of education. The pension contribution amounts to 16% of the pensionable salary components. 

 

It is a prerequisite for employment that you are an active student at a higher educational institution. 

 

The employment is at least 1 year, preferably longer.

Working hours: 10 hours per week 

Expected Start: July / August 2026
