DIAGNOSIS: ARTIST. Art in the Age of Advanced Medicine. Modern Visual Arts and Medical Science – Body, Mind, Creativity
Examining interchanges between medicine and the visual arts from the mid-19th century to the present, it is an attempt at charting how medical sciences and nomenclatures have affected aesthetics, art criticism, and the artistic work process during the past 150 years. It is a narrative of cultural norms, contemporary art, and the market.
