Susanne Stormer as Leader in Residence at MSC
The Department of Management, Society and Communication is very pleased to welcome Susanne Stormer as Leader in Residence in the department. The Leader in Residence Programme at CBS is a recent initiative, the purpose of which is to strengthen relations between CBS, leadership practitioners and the business community.
Susanne Stormer is eminently positioned to take up this visiting appointment, bringing with her more than three decades of experience with leadership at the intersection of business, society, and responsible governance.
She is currently Partner with responsibility for Sustainability Services at PwC Denmark, and prior to that had a 20-year tenure at Novo Nordisk, where she played a central role in shaping the company’s global sustainability strategy and advancing integrated reporting practices. Through this work, she has continuously demonstrated how organisations can balance profitability with social and environmental stewardship.
Susanne Stormer moreover serves on the boards of leading international organisations, including the International Corporate Governance Network (ICGN), and has contributed to international standard-setting bodies such as the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB). From 2013 to 2023, she served as Adjunct Professor of Corporate Sustainability at MSC, contributing to research and teaching developments in the field.
As a Leader in Residence, Susanne Stormer will be at the department regularly, dedicating time to discuss the effects of global developments in corporate sustainability and sustainability governance with our academic community and our students. She will be attached to MSC’s Centre for Sustainability.
