Course content
Management and Organization presents the building blocks of the study, analysis, and management of organizations. The course will provide students with a strong foundation in organizational theory, from the social science classics to political economy, transnational, and inequality theories of organizations. To demonstrate an understanding of the application of these theories in organizations, students will learn how to apply concepts and theories of leadership, management, and organization to analyze real-world empirical evidence and cases. Drawing from organizational theory, students will then craft solutions to the pressing challenges that businesses face in today’s dynamic global economy.
