- Define an organizational problem and explain how it can be examined through a coherent research design.
- Find academic literature in the domains of strategy, organization, and leadership related to the problem definition.
- Craft a research plan to examine this problem by operationalizing the chosen theories and concepts into empirical research questions and outlining appropriate methods for data collection.
- Justify the choice of empirical setting, data sources and methods for data collection and analysis, acknowledging their benefits and limitations.
- Collect and analyze data using suitable analytical techniques to generate insights related to the identified problem.
- Explain the main findings of the study and discuss their relationship to academic literature.
- Articulate practical recommendations to address this problem based on the research findings and academic literature.
- Write a report presenting the problem, the relevant literature, the research plan, the findings, and the recommendations in a coherent manner.
- Articulate recommendations for practice based on the findings and elaborate on how they could be implemented in an organizational setting.
