About
Presentation and Academic Fields
I am an interdisciplinary scholar and my research centers on how organizations can make the social world better, often with a focus on people and processes. Common themes in my research are: Diversity and difference, Alternative organizing, People and Technology, Bodies in organizations, Utopia and imaginaries.
Professional and/or academic experience
I have a PhD in Organization and Management from CBS, where I explore sustainable investing as an form for alternative organizing by looking at the phenomena from different critical theoretical angles. As a Postdoc at Roskilde University, I explored the digtial organizing of female health, through studying femtech, feminist hackathons, posthuman intimacy and feminist audio pornography. Right now, I am intersted in neurodiversity is a source of alternative organizing, organizational practices for handling menopausal employees, and intimate relationships between humans and chatbots.
Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
I have a long experience of teaching within topics of Organization studies, such as Organizational Analysis, Management and Organization, Corporate Communication, Strategic communication and Management, and Diversity and CSR beyond boarders. I am dedicated to inclusive teaching, where all students in the classroom are seen and heard and feel welcome, as I believe this is foundational to create a good environment for learning. For example, it is important for me to use inclusive language and encourage students and collogues to do the same; to use a variety of teaching techniques to accommodate different learnings styles; and to employ different scaffolding techniques adjusted to the individual student’s need. When I teach, I strive to provide contemporary examples to explain complex theoretical concepts and theories, to give students the keys needed to unlock the texts in curriculum. Further, I believe it is important to create spaces where the students can play with theories, experiment with application and theoretical comparisons to foster critical thinking. Learning must be fun, innovative, and experimenting to get stuck in the mind of the learner. I have extensive expereince with supervising on many levels, including semester project, Bachelor projects and Master thesis. I supervise within the fields of organization and management that matches my research interests (see above), such as sustainable businesses, HRM, alternative organizing and people anf technology.
