About
Profile description
Presentation and academic fields
My areas of expertise include corporate sustainability, leadership, and organisational transformation, with a particular focus on how paradox theory sheds light on the complex responsibility dilemmas faced by today’s leaders. I aim to identify emerging challenges in responsible management and governance and to create research-informed teaching that prepares current and future leaders to address these issues.
Professional and/or academic experience
I hold a PhD in organisational theory and corporate sustainability. Before entering academia, I spent 14 years in management consulting and sustainability advocacy, which fostered my commitment to engaged and impactful scholarship.
I also have a background in elite sports and stay connected to the field through governance and advisory roles, mainly centred on sustainability and DEI.
Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
I teach all levels from bachelor to Executives. My teaching seeks to be a dialogue-driven exploration of the dilemmas and unanswered questions in responsible management and strategy.
I supervise in the areas of corporate sustainability, governance, and leadership. I also enjoy supervising master's students who combine their business studies with a focus on sport.
