PhD in sociolinguistics with an interest in sociolinguistics in education contexts, language policy, especially language education policy, language attitudes and identity.

Professional and/or academic experience
Primary research areas:
Language attitudes, planning and policy; language and identity; language education policy; the impact of Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS) in teacher education.

Pedagogical experience/method skills/supervision
I have over two decades of content teaching experience in topics related to sociolinguistics in both French and English (and occasionally in Danish). I have also specialised in teaching both French and English as language subjects at high school and university levels.

I supervise in the general field of sociolinguistics at BA, MA and at PhD levels.

I have in excess of 12 years supervision experience and have specific training in thesis supervision.
