Securing critical supply chains through resilience research
Leon Iden is a PhD Fellow at the Department of Operations Management, where he researches risk, resilience, and the governance of critical supply chains—with a particular focus on political and ecological threats to essential resources.
He combines methods from social data science, strategy, and supply chain theory with case studies, such as the Danish Agency for Critical Supplies (SFOS), to investigate how organizations can ensure the continuous delivery of vital goods and services amid global instability and political shocks.
Leon holds a BSc in International Business & Politics from CBS and an MSc in Social Data Science from the University of Copenhagen. He has also worked in strategy consulting and studied at the University of Melbourne and the University of Toronto, giving him a strong interdisciplinary profile and practical insight.
His work contributes to developing research-based solutions that help society address systemic supply chain risks—particularly in support of preparedness, sustainability, and stability within critical sectors.
