Circular Business Model Transformation
My research primarily concerns the EU-funded CIR4FUN project concerning the furniture industry in Europe. Here, I seek to conduct stakeholder analyses and workshops in order to develop new business model formations towards a more circular practice. In essence, how can business, industry and society reduce waste.
Impact Creation and Policy Recommendations
One thing is to develop models for circular business practices; another is to carry them out. My other research topic concerns the formation of community engagement processes in order to develop policy recommendations. In other words, ‘blueprints’ to carry out sustainable change in local communities.

Exploring business model opportunities to push for a just and sustainable society

I am a Research Assistant developing stakeholder analysis, circular business model development and implementation strategies for a better future with less waste and more equality. My work mainly concerns contributions to European and nationally funded research projects. The overall ethos of my contributions will always be to find a balance between institutions, nature, and people.

My career at CBS started promptly after finalising five years of studies at the same institution. With this experience, I emphasise active engagement of students at eye level. Amongst other initiatives, I'm a volunteer part of CBS's Permahave. Besides using the garden to connect with something 'more than human', I invite students to partake in our activities and gain alternative perspectives on how we conduct business in contemporary society.
