Behavioural public policy
My research focuses on how behavioural insights and nudges can drive behaviour change in public policy and administration. I study the design and implementation of evidence-based interventions to improve policymaking and governance.
Environmental Psychology
My research explores psychological drivers of environmental behaviour, examining how cultural differences shape sustainable choices and ecological footprints.
Behavioural Science and AI
My research explores the intersection of behavioural science and artificial intelligence, focusing on synthetic participants for experimental studies, the use of AI in decision-making, and AI as a research method to model and predict behavioural patterns.

Understanding human behaviour for better policy

I help public organisations build the capacity to understand and influence human behaviour. Many of today’s societal challenges - from climate change to public health - require behaviour change.

My research focuses on how public officials make decisions about behaviour change and what drives their choices. By improving this understanding, I aim to support policies that are more effective, ethical, and aligned with real-world behaviour.

Ultimately, my work contributes to creating evidence-based strategies that help governments and institutions design interventions that people can and will adopt, leading to better outcomes for society.
