Primary research areas

Stakeholder engagement and Community management
My research focuses on stakeholder engagement and community management, with an emphasis on co-creation processes and the design of transdisciplinary and integrative networks to foster effective collaboration and knowledge exchange.
Impact creation and Policy recommendations
My research focuses on translating academic insights into impact by developing policy recommendations and practical strategies. I work on bridging research and practice to inform decision-making, support evidence-based policies, and create societal value.
Project Management and Research coordination
My research also involves project management of the BEACON project. My focus is on managing academic research results to ensure effective dissemination and impact.

Translating research for stakeholders across sectors

My research focuses on driving stakeholder engagement and translating interdisciplinary research into real-world impact. I design and facilitate human-centred workshops with researchers, policymakers, NGOs, and civil-society actors. My work integrates mixed-method research, co-creation processes, and policy-oriented outputs, with a particular focus on sustainable development in the agrifood sector, to inform governance, advocacy, and innovation across Denmark and the EU.

Reflow (Horizon 2020)

Co-creating circular and regenerative material flows in cities – Reflow (completed) tested diverse approaches to city circularity through focussing on different resource flows. At the heart of the 7 pilots across the EU was a productive ‘making’ approach that empowered citizens, engaged policymakers and industry leaders.
