Communicative practices hold the power to shape the future of our business world
My research is positioned at the intersection of narrative theory, financial communication, organizational memory, and qualitative methods in management and communication studies.
Given my eclectic background spanning different disciplines (holding a master in the fields of economic and finance and a Ph.D in the field of communication); different countries (Switzerland, Italy, U.S.A., U.K., France, Sweden) and different institutions (banking consulting and universities) I have the unique vantage point to question assumptions, cross disciplinary boundaries, and embrace complexity. My eclectic background has shaped my belief that knowledge is most powerful when it is dialogical— emerging through conversations across fields, cultures, and experiences.
My academic journey - from financial consultancy to narrative-based research in communication - has taught me that stories are not just representations nor content, but rather action. Through my work, I aim to illuminate the ethical and aesthetic dimensions of organizational storytelling - how language not only reflects but constructs realities, often with deep consequences. In a world increasingly driven by numbers and algorithms, I advocate for a more human-centered, reflective, and responsible approach to management education and research - one that recognizes the power of narrative to both reveal and transform.
Having moved between academia and industry, between quantitative cultures and qualitative inquiry, I continue to be driven by a curiosity about how knowledge travels, how it is communicated, and how it matters.
