I study the causes and ef­fects of eco­nom­ic agents’ choices

My research interests lie in macro-finance, specifically household finance and banking. I typically leverage large micro-level datasets and microeconometric identification techniques to answer my research questions. My research seeks to understand the behavior of economic agents and covers questions such as: 

Why do some people participate in the stock market and others not? 

How do people’s savings and investment decisions affect their wealth accumulation and welfare? 

Is there a role for policy in helping people make effective financial decisions? 

How does banking regulation affect bank lending and the wider economy?  

Prior to joining CBS, I completed my PhD in Economics at the London School of Economics, and my undergraduate and master's studies at the University of Cambridge.
