Digital Sustainability
Digital sustainability explores how digital technologies can be designed and used to create positive environmental, social, and economic impact. It examines the role of digital solutions in helping organizations and societies reduce resource use, lower emissions, and build more resilient and regenerative practices.
Green Transformation in the Agri-Food Industry
Green transformation in the agri-food industry is a systemic shift in how food is produced, processed, and distributed to reduce environmental harm. Beyond efficiency, it reshapes supply chains, business models, and practices, linking innovations with policies to move from extractive methods toward regenerative futures for people and planet

From Extractive to Regenerative - Sparking Green Transformations with Digital Technologies

My research investigates how digital technologies can drive the green transformation of industries, shifting from extractive practices that harm our planet to regenerative outcomes that restore it. I focus on how digital innovation enable organizations and industries to collaborate toward systemic sustainability.

I work closely with the agri-food industry, one of the world’s largest contributors to greenhouse gas emissions, to explore how digital tools can spark sustainable change acros value chains. My studies reveal how niche innovations can scale into industry-wide transformations when supported by digital resources and new forms of collaboration.

Beyond research, I care deeply about industry engagement and real-life change. My work equips industries with strategies that balance growth and responsibility, helping them with practices that sustain planetary health. I believe that by reimagining industries through digital sustainability, we can step out of the woods of extractive systems and into regenerative futures.

AgriCircle – Upcycling Food Waste Streams into High Value Reuse

AgriCircle explores how digital tech can link nutrient-rich byproduct producers with innovators, enabling sustainable upcycling in the agri-food sector into food, biotech, or materials.
