I am interested in how the EU writes digital laws, what informs their regulatory choices, lobbying and the effectiveness of these laws. I am also interested in the comparative dimension of digital lawmaking.

I work with risk-based regulation in the digital sector, including the reasons that motivate the lawmaker to choose it and the obstacles companies have in complying with risk-based laws. I work with companies trying to understand strategic and organizational issues they face in working with the AI Act, GDPR, cybersecurity laws, platform laws, etc.
