Entrepreneur­ship The­ory
My re­search ex­plores the mean­ing, con­text, and mech­an­isms un­der­ly­ing en­tre­pren­eur­i­al ac­tion. I am par­tic­u­larly in­ter­ested in the re­la­tion­ship between en­tre­pren­eurs and own­er­ship, and how this nex­us in­forms our un­der­stand­ing of entrepreneur­ship at large.
Firm Own­er­ship and Gov­ernance
I study the de­term­in­ants of firm emer­gence, con­trol, and gov­ernance. As such, I am mostly in­ter­ested in the pro­cesses lead­ing to the cre­ation and de­vel­op­ment of en­tre­pren­eur­i­al firms, star­tups among them.

Who will own the next uni­corn?

I am a Ph.D. Fellow at the Department of Strategy and Innovation, with an interest and experience in entrepreneurship, firm governance, and startup development. After a B.A. in Business Management, I pursued a specialization in international business at the master's level while venturing into legal and strategic management as the co-founder of a cleantech startup. 

My Ph.D. project focuses on the relationship between ownership and entrepreneurship, by providing a comprehensive framework for research on entrepreneurial ownership and investigating ownership as a determinant of entrepreneurial performance.  

Beyond my research, I am a passionate student of economic history, legal theory, and the history of entrepreneurship and economic development. 

I am a member of the Academy of Management, as well as the Entrepreneurial Judgment Society.
