Teaching and Researching Society and Culture in the Spanish-Speaking World

I create open spaces for dialogue, where students are encouraged to explore, question, and understand cultures from regions of the world that differ significantly from their own. As the Course Coordinator for Spanish and Latin American Area Studies (Years 1 & 2), I work closely with young learners as they begin to grasp how life unfolds in diverse societies across the Spanish-speaking world.

My teaching focuses on contemporary politics, culture, society, economy, and organizational communication in Spain and Latin America—delivered entirely in Spanish. I’m passionate about fostering intercultural awareness and critical thinking in the classroom.
