Shaping the role of Generative AI in supporting human creativity
Fascinated by the human experience of creativity and with a multidisciplinary background in academia, arts, and industry, I am pursuing a PhD on how to design interactions with Generative AI tools that support the creative flow.
I hold a BSc in Multimedia Technology and Design and an MSc in Software Engineering from the University of Amsterdam (UvA), where my thesis focused on “Understanding and Enhancing the Creative Performance of Software Engineers.” My professional experience includes roles as a teaching assistant at UvA and software engineering positions at Centric Software (Amsterdam) and ABB (Athens). Most recently, I collaborated with Professor Derek Lomas and Katrina Heijne of TU Delft to co-develop a GPT-powered tool and workshop based on our proposed prompting strategy, “prompt reversal.”
Beyond software, I have experience in creative projects, including cinematography work at Nomadic Films (London) and more recently performing in a dance theatre production.
