Course content

The course aims to provide students with knowledge about the challenges and dilemmas of organizing and managing multiple projects within a company or network. On one hand, projects are often implemented in organizations to enable creativity, innovation, and transformation, as they are often given the autonomy to think anew and develop knowledge. On the other hand, this autonomy can lead to the risk of "reinventing the wheel" if projects become too independent, presenting the challenge of fostering continuous learning and competence development. This course delves into organizational dilemmas, such as how to manage and operate a company that largely, or entirely, consists of more or less autonomous projects. How do you create knowledge integration across projects, and how do you build organizational competencies to manage different types of projects and ensure the creation of innovation?
